Tai chi Sword and tuishou – Part 4 – Every fight involves multiple opponents.

Posted on 5 May, 2023 by Sinclair Martial Arts5 May, 2023

“Every fight involves multiple opponents. There is your enemy, their weapon, footwork, mind, skill, technique, rhythm, timing, distance, and strength. You also have to contend with your weapon, your footwork, your mind, your skill, your technique, your timing and rhythm, your strength, and your weakness.

“If you face twenty opponents and your mind is captured by one of them, then you will be unaware of the other nineteen. By not allowing your mind to be taken by any one of them, you can perceive all of them.

“By being still and empty, you can be undefeatable.”
